We got an email with our results, which I assume was similar to the one you got. This told us how many votes we got, plus the number in the category and the percentage.

The email didn’t have the “Overall satisfaction with you as a provider” figure, which was only in the benchmarking report. The report contains specific information about us, plus some stats on the other categories. It says your “Final SSA11 Score” was 3.88 out of 4, which you could interpret as 97%. That’s higher than the figure you state on your blog, so it might be worth checking your sums?

I was told KashFlow alone got over 1600 votes.. With a total of 10,000 votes cast that’s 16% of all votes. Not too shabby.

We didn’t go for the benchmark report. We paid for it last year – and other extras the year before – neither materialised.

Sift didn’t seem bothered when I mentioned it so didn’t fancy paying for nothing again!

Thanks.

I got the stats from our benchmarking report.

I thought you must have the report, because that’s where the overall satisfaction figure comes from (and it is different from your Final SSA11 score).

I reckon our two categories must have had more votes than any of the others. There were 2542 votes in the SME Payroll category, which is about a quarter of the total in the awards. I’d be interested to know how many there were in SME Accounting & Finance – in private if you prefer.

Hi Steve,

I think they decide who is enterprise and who isn’t based on info provided by users – I agree though, very confusing.

Congrats on your win.

Good to her we got the 3rd highest score (and that you got 2nd!) Where id you get that data from?

I heard we got a disproportionately large (read:massive) proportion of the total number of votes case in the entire awards too.

They actually awarded two “Accounting & Finance” prizes this year – the other one being Enterprise Accounting & Finance. It was a bit confusing because it only became clear there were two categories after the voting was over.

If you’ll excuse me comparing apples with oranges… of all of the vendors that were shortlisted in all of the different software categories, you got the third highest “Final SSA11 score” – no mean feat.

But don’t rest on your laurels
Still waiting for Bank transaction integration via Yodlee (or better), and ability to set company financial year start/end to aid quick reporting.
