Is this at all possible without third party software?

Hope you will be adding ability to auto import bank transactions (bank feeds), as it’s a bit of a faff right now compared to what others are doing.

And good news about moving away from ASP too – I bet your dev team are busy but less frustrated thanks to this decision.

Keep up the good work Duane!

Thanks for the comments (and for co-founding WordPress).

I asked the dev team if we’re using Progressive Enhancement and they looked at me as if to say “doh. of course”.

Usability and Accessibility testing is also in the plan.

Please make sure to use progressive enhancement (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Progressive_enhancement) techniques to build the new UI. Don’t sacrifice usability for bells and whistles.
In fact make sure to include external usability and accessibility testing in your budget!

Can’t wait for the results.

I know you do not want to talk about when and what exactly but are we talking three, six or 12 months for the first release of changes. We, Orbit subscribers need to plan and prepare a bit as well. Perhaps Orbit subscribers should get a bit more information ahead of everyone else.
