Here comes Global Entrepreneurship Week
On Monday, Global Entrepreneurship Week begins.
If you’ve had your head down working on your business all year, it’s a great opportunity to get out and meet other people starting, running and growing small businesses.
The official GEW site has a list of events, these are the two I’m definitely going to:
The Pitch Final – Tuesday
The Pitch bills itself as “Britain’s biggest pitching competition” – a bit like Dragons Den. Tuesday is the grand Final at the IoD on Pall Mall.
KashFlow chairman, Lord Young was recently appointed Enterprise Advisor to David Cameron and he’ll be delivering what I believe is his first Key Note address on the day.
It’s sure to be a good event, with good people and great networking opportunities.
The GEW Party – Friday (now sold out, sorry!)
This takes place on the evening of Friday 19th at Eclipse South Kensington. After a long week there’s sure to be some drinking and letting down of hair.
Another event that looks like it could be very worthwhile attending is
The E2 Live– Wednesday and Thursday
Taking place at ExCel on 17th and 18th November, it is absolutely packed with some very good speakers. You could potentially hear more good speakers here in two days than you could in the rest of the year put together.
E2Live has been cancelled.
